Registration
Registration covers
- 6 days of included Brumby Week activities from the 25th – 31st August 2018 (commencing from the Shuttle drive on the Sunday the 25th August 2019 until the Shuttle return on Saturday the 31st August 2019)
- Shuttle transfer to and from Brumby Week. Shuttle from Alice Springs leaves just after Midday on Sunday the 25th of August 2019 and returns to Alice Springs early morning on Saturday the 31st of August 2019. It is participants’ own responsibilities that they arrive in Alice Springs in time, and depart at a suitable time.
- 1x Brumby Week mug and welcome pack
- Access to Kings Creek Station amenities
- Transport to events and activities included in Brumby Week
Registration does not cover
- Accommodation
- Food for the duration (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Any extra activities you wish to purchase from Kings Creek Station
Registration Confirmation and Updates
You will receive your registration confirmation and PayPal receipt by email. Please ensure that your personal valid email is entered correctly on the registration form. Be sure to check your junk email box to in case any of your Brumby Week-related email(s) are caught by spam filters.
Once you have paid for your registration, you will be sent a link to fill out your details and complete your registration. If you lose this link, please contact us at hello@brumbyweek.com
You will receive essential information for registered Brumby Week attendees electronically at the email address provided on your registration form. The Brumby Week website will also contain important information – please check the site for updates.
Cancellations and Refunds
No refunds of any kind will be made for cancellations. No refunds will be given for “no-shows,” late arrivals, and early departures. No refunds will be available in the event of weather or other circumstances.
Note that if you do not cancel and do not attend, you are responsible for payment.
Substitutions and Transfers
You may transfer your registration to another eligible party if you are unable to attend Brumby Week. Attendees transferring registrations to another party are responsible for any and all financial arrangements between transferring and receiving parties. There will be a $25 processing fee charged per registration transfer.

Travel and Accommodation
Attendees are responsible for securing their own travel and accommodation and making payment for such. Cancellation of accommodation reservations and/or any travel expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of each individual. Brumby Week does not make any guarantees or in any way warrant the accommodation, other conference venues, or any form of transportation.
Modification/Postponement/Cancellation of Brumby Week or any part of Brumby Week
Privacy Statement
Brumby Week is committed to protecting Your privacy and the confidentiality and the security of personal information provided by You. The personal information you provide is necessary to process your registration form which may include updating your record and profile information.
- Your name, organisation and country/state may be published in the delegate list which is provided to delegates, exhibitors and sponsors at the event.
- Subject to strict conditions of use, your name and contact information may be used by other approved stakeholders such as the host body, event manager, sponsors, speakers and exhibitors in connection with promotion, networking, revenue raising and administration of this conference.
- We may use this information for the promotion of future events of this type.
Intention to Photograph
Participants and others are advised that photographs and filming may be taken during the conference and reproduced for promotional purposes.
Force Majeure
Brumby Week are not responsible for either the partial or total non-execution of the contract in the event of accident, an act caused by a third party, such as Acts of God including, without limitation, credible threats of natural disaster in the geographic vicinity of the hotel, war, curtailment or interruption of transportation facilities, threats or acts of terrorism or similar acts, governmental travel advisory, a governmental elevation of the terrorism alert level, civil disturbance, the issue of a travel warning by the World Health Organization or any other cause comparable events or disaster beyond the parties’ control which prevents the hotel from accommodating the clients of Brumby Week for the event or if for the same reasons the event is cancelled by Brumby Week.
Insurance and Liability
Participants must obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart for the Conference. Brumby Week as organisers cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belonging to the Conference participants and accompanying persons. It is participants’ responsibility to acquire the relevant insurance for themselves.
The Organisor may at their entire discretion repay the delegate fee or service charge paid by the delegate, or part thereof, but shall be under no obligation to repay the whole or part of such delegate fee or service charge, and shall be under no liability to the delegate in respect of any actions, claims, losses (including consequential losses), costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by the delegate, as the result of the happening of any such event.
Limitations of Liability and Indemnity
Provisions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and other laws in force from time to time in Australia may impose guarantees, warranties, conditions and obligations on Brumby Week (“Implied Terms”). If any Implied Terms apply, to the extent permitted by law Brumby Week’s liability and Your sole remedy will be limited to the refund of the Fee paid to Brumby Week. Subject to any Implied Terms, all guarantees, representations, conditions and warranties of any nature are expressly excluded.
Subject to any Implied Terms and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brumby Week, its employees, agents and contractors will not be liable for personal injury or death, property damage, or any other loss (including without limitation, liability for negligence, breach of these Terms or any other agreement), damage, cost or expense (including, without limitation, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, indirect, special, punitive or consequential loss or damage) that You may incur or suffer arising out of or in connection with the Conference.
You agree to fully indemnify and hold Brumby Week, its employees, agents, contractors and sub-contractors (Representatives) harmless from any claim, cost, demand, liability or damage (including legal costs, professional costs and other expenses on a full indemnity basis) incurred by Brumby Week and/or its Representatives arising out of or in connection with the Conference, including but not limited to: (1) a breach of these Terms; (2) Your use of the Venue or attendance at the Conference; (3) any damage to the Venue or any goods located at the Venue; or (4) the infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any third party (including the Venue).
